Own your customers, not just your listings

Fast-track your DTC expansion with a Shopify storefront built around your existing products, reviews, and inventory.

Let’s Talk About Your Store

Why expand beyond Amazon?

Amazon gives you sales. It doesn’t give you customers.

Own your customer data

On Amazon, you never see a buyer’s email. In your own Shopify store, every order adds a customer you can reach again.

Set your own offers

Your price, your bundles, your promotions, without racing the next seller for the Amazon Buy Box.

Turn one order into many

Email brings buyers back without another ad click. Repeat customers are where DTC margin lives.

Spread your risk

A suspended listing, a fee hike, or a policy change can’t stop your whole business when you have your Shopify store as an additional sales channel.

Build a brand, not an ASIN

Building a DTC channel alongside Amazon helps strengthen your brand and grow beyond the marketplace.

Why Amazon brands stall on Shopify.
And how we fix it.

The product isn’t the problem. It already sells on Amazon. What’s missing is DTC know-how: Shopify runs on different rules, and the skills that win on Amazon don’t carry over on their own.

Pitfall
What goes wrong?
What we build
01 · A store that doesn’t convert
Copy-pasted listings, weak product pages, no trust signals.
Store: brand-first design, your Amazon reviews on-site, SEO and AI-search ready.
02 · No plan for traffic
On Shopify, nobody arrives unless you bring them.
Ad accounts + Social: Meta, Google, Merchant Center and synced catalog ready on launch day.
03 · Launching blind
Nothing is tracked, so you can’t tell what works.
Tracking: GA4, Search Console, Pixel and Conversions API checked end to end.
04 · Fulfillment that breaks
Split inventory, wrong shipping rates, late orders.
Fulfillment: ship from FBA stock via MCF (Buy with Prime where eligible) or your 3PL, tested before launch.
05 · One-time buyers
Every sale costs another ad click.
Automated Email: Klaviyo popup, welcome, abandoned cart and post-purchase flows.

One package. A ready-to-earn Shopify store.

Stay focused on what you do best. We handle Shopify end to end.

  • 4 to 8 weeks
  • All-inclusive pricing

A store built to convert

A brand-first Shopify experience modeled on top stores in your niche: complete design, product pages that sell, reviews and trust signals in place, mobile-first, and ready for search (SEO) and AI answers (GEO). Ready to take orders on day one.

Fulfillment, your way

Amazon MCF: orders ship from your existing FBA inventory. No new warehouse, with Buy with Prime where eligible.

Your own 3PL or warehouse: we connect it to Shopify, with shipping rates and order tracking set up.

Either way, inventory, shipping rates and tracking emails are tested end to end before launch.

Tracking you can trust

GA4, Search Console, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, connected and checked end to end. Every visit, cart and order is counted correctly from your first visitor, so you always know which pages and ads actually make money.

Email that brings buyers back

Klaviyo flows live from day one: welcome popup, welcome series, abandoned cart and post-purchase flows. They greet new visitors, recover abandoned carts and turn first-time buyers into repeat customers.

Ad accounts, ready to scale

Meta Business Manager, Google Ads and Merchant Center set up to best practices, with a synced product catalog. The day you switch on ads, nothing holds you back.

A social presence from day one

Your Facebook and Instagram are set up with launch content that tells your brand story clearly. Shoppers understand your brand at first glance, instead of guessing at it.

From kickoff to launching in 4-8 weeks

Four phases, each with a clear output. Work overlaps, so nothing waits on a long handover.

Step 1

Kickoff and discover

We review your Amazon catalog and sales data, select your hero products, and agree on the Shopify store layout and template.

Step 2

Build and connect

Shopify build, MCF or 3PL connection, GA4, Pixel and Conversions API, Klaviyo flows and ad accounts.

Step 3

Test end to end

We place test orders and check inventory, shipping rates, tracking emails and conversion events before anything goes live.

Step 4

Launch and handover

Go live, with training and guidelines. Every account is handed over in your name.

Optional add-on

Your Store Is Live.
Now Let’s Grow with DTC Go-to-market.

A 6-10-week campaign focused on your best-performing products, starting the week your store goes live. You get your first real orders, email subscribers, and a Signal Report showing you what to scale next.

1 · Pick

2 · Plan

Audience, channel, budget split, success criteria agreed upfront.

3 · Create

Up to 15 ad creatives per product, tailored to your campaigns.

4 · Launch

How DTC Launchpad compares to the alternatives

How Our DTC Launchpad Compares to Other Agencies

Most Amazon brands choose between a freelancer, a Shopify dev agency or a new hire. Here is how the options typically differ.

Amazon sellers can build their own DTC stores in different ways. Here’s what sets IMP Marketing’s approach apart.

IMP Marketing's
DTC Launchpad

Key Strengths

  • One-stop shop: Amazon, Shopify and marketing expertise in one team, so nothing falls between vendors
  • Fast: A live store in 4-8 weeks
  • Built to sell: by people who run real stores and ad budgets every day

Considerations

  • An investment: Costs more than doing it yourself or hiring a freelancer, but typically less than a Shopify agency plus a marketing agency, or an in-house hire.

Doing it yourself

Key Strengths

  • Lowest cash cost: No agency or freelancer fees.
  • Full control over every detail

Considerations

  • Weeks of learning: Research, trial and error before anything works.
  • Time taken from bigger priorities: Partnerships, Finance or product R&D all wait.

Freelancers

Key Strengths

  • Lower price: Usually cheaper than an agency.

Considerations

  • Uneven quality: Hard to guarantee from one freelancer to the next.
  • Several freelancers needed: Design, development, ads and email rarely come from one person.

Shopify dev agency

Key Strengths

  • Deep Shopify expertise: Strong at design and development skill.

Considerations

  • Higher price
  • Light on performance marketing: Often limited experience running ads and driving sales numbers, so you need to hire a separate marketing agency.

In-house hire

Key Strengths

  • Flexible: Adapts as your priorities change.
  • Brand familiarity: A dedicated person who knows your brand.

Considerations

  • High cost and overhead: Salary, tools and benefits add up.
  • No guarantee: The hire may not deliver, and the role may not stay fully utilized.

Other Agencies

Key Strengths

  • Specialized expertise: Strong skills in specific areas such as Shopify development or marketing.
  • Flexible options: Choose providers based on your needs and budget.

Considerations

  • Multiple vendors: Store development and marketing may require separate agencies.
  • More coordination: You manage communication and handoffs between providers.

FAQs

What does an Amazon-to-Shopify expansion agency do?

An Amazon-to-Shopify expansion agency helps established Amazon sellers build and launch their own Shopify sales channel. Services may include Shopify store development, Amazon fulfillment integration, conversion tracking, email marketing setup, and customer acquisition support. IMP Marketing provides these services through DTC Launchpad, with an optional DTC Go-to-market campaign to validate the potential of hero products and uncover growth opportunities.

What is DTC Launchpad?

DTC Launchpad is IMP Marketing's end-to-end Amazon-to-Shopify expansion service for established Amazon sellers looking to build a direct-to-consumer sales channel. It combines Shopify store development, Amazon fulfillment integration, conversion tracking, email automation, and marketing infrastructure in one launch package, typically delivered within 4-8 weeks.

Is this an Amazon to Shopify migration? Do I have to leave Amazon?

Not at all. You can keep selling on Amazon while launching your own Shopify store as a second sales channel, using the same products and reviews to reach more customers and grow sales.

Will a Shopify store affect my Amazon sales? Do I need a 3PL or warehouse?

Your Amazon listings stay as they are, while your Shopify store reaches buyers through your own ads, email, and social channels. Orders can be fulfilled using the same FBA inventory through Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), so you don’t need a separate warehouse. Already have a 3PL? We can connect that instead.

How long until my store is live, and what do I need to provide?

Typically 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff. The optional DTC Go-to-market campaign runs for 6-10 weeks after launch. You provide your brand assets, product list, Seller Central access, and domain. We handle the writing, design, and setup.

Can I use DTC Go-to-market without DTC Launchpad?

Yes. If you already have a Shopify store, DTC Go-to-market works on its own. We check your tracking and store setup first, then launch and optimize ad campaigns to drive growth.

I tried Shopify before and it didn’t work. Why is this different?

Success on Shopify depends on more than just having a store. We bring the full setup, from a conversion-focused storefront to tracking, email, and ads. If you want to take it further, DTC Go-to-market is available as an add-on to test products, identify what works, and find opportunities to scale before committing more budget.

Who owns the store and accounts?

You do. Your Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Business Manager, and all other accounts are set up in your name, so you retain full ownership and control.

Do I need a team to run it after launch?

Not necessarily. We build for lean operations and provide detailed handover materials, training, and guidelines so you know what needs to be done. You can manage the store yourself, hire only the support you need, or continue working with IMP Marketing as you grow.

How is our DTC Launchpad different from hiring a Shopify development agency?

Shopify development agencies vary in scope, with some focusing primarily on website design and technical development. IMP Marketing's DTC Launchpad combines Shopify development with Amazon fulfillment integration, conversion tracking, email automation, and marketing account setup.
